Volunteering with Friends of Franklin Parks is a great way to share your enthusiasm and dedication to preserving, enhancing, and expanding Franklin’s natural community. From events at the Tractor Supply Co. Arena to fundraisers, festivals, Volunteer Clean-up Day, and much more, there are so many ways for you to volunteer your time and talent with Friends of Franklin Parks.

We are always looking for friends to help us accomplish various projects. It is through our volunteers that we can successfully accomplish the preservation of our natural resources for future generations.

Silent Run Show Series - October 31 & November 1

The Park at Harlinsdale Farm | Tractor Supply Co. Arena

Spend a day at beautiful Harlinsdale Farm while supporting Friends of Franklin Parks! We're looking for volunteers to assist with concessions during the Silent Run Show Series, a hunter jumper horse show.

Responsibilities include taking orders, processing payments, preparing simple concessions, and assisting guests. No experience is necessary! Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.

Volunteer Shifts (Both Days):

  • 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM

  • 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM

All concession proceeds benefit Friends of Franklin Parks, making this a great opportunity to enjoy the horse show while supporting our mission.

City of Franklin Family Day - November 7

The Park at Harlinsdale Farm | 239 Franklin Road

Join us for one of Franklin's favorite family traditions! Family Day features hayrides, pony rides, miniature train rides, a petting zoo, Touch-a-Tractor, and much more.

Friends of Franklin Parks will have two tents where volunteers will help children with crafts, distribute giveaways, and welcome visitors throughout the day.

Volunteer Shifts:

  • 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (includes light setup)

  • 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM (includes light cleanup)

We're looking for four volunteers per shift. This is a fun and easy way to get involved, meet new people, and enjoy a wonderful day in the park!

We host multiple fundraising events including the Franklin Family Splash & Dash, 4th of July Fireworks Celebration in the TSC Arena, Raise The Roofs, and Dinner on The Bridge at Harlinsdale.   • We’re building our Event Day Crew and need some extra hands! These are our big, busy, often hot event days, and we’re looking for energetic, able-bodied folks who don’t mind jumping in, lifting, moving, and making the magic happen behind the scenes.
