Fundraising and Development Manager

Are you passionate about parks, trails, and open spaces? Do you want to see the impact of your work in a real and meaningful way? Friends of Franklin Parks, a growing nonprofit focused on enhancing Franklin’s parks and trail systems, is looking for a creative and motivated Fundraising and Development Manager to help advance our mission.

What You Will Do

  • Lead fundraising efforts, including corporate, foundation, and individual giving

  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, including securing major gifts of $25,000 or more

  • Manage donor communications

  • Collaborate on digital campaigns and marketing efforts

  • Oversee grant writing, reporting, and donor data management

  • Work closely with the Executive Director, Board, and team to meet annual revenue goals

  • Represent Friends of Franklin Parks at events and within the community

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, marketing, or nonprofit development

  • Strong track record of cultivating and securing major gifts

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of the philanthropic community in Franklin or Middle Tennessee is a plus

  • Genuine love for parks, trails, and community building
