Join Friends of Franklin Parks for Ride Smart Franklin, a free community event focused on helping riders of all ages and experience levels feel safer and more confident while biking around Franklin.
The evening will begin with cookies, lemonade, and an opportunity to connect with fellow community members before a moderated Panel Q&A featuring local experts Kem and Bob Harris, owners of Pedego Franklin; Max Baker, Multi-Modal Coordinator for the City of Franklin; and Ned Dannenberg, President of the Bike Walk Franklin Committee.
The conversation will cover practical topics including bike and e-bike safety, riding etiquette, rules of the road, navigating traffic and intersections, safe places to ride, parking lot awareness, and tips for families and riders of all experience levels.
