Friends of Franklin Parks and The Chestnut Group are proud to partner in the second Painting in the Parks Art Show & Sale.

The Artists

Founded in Tennessee in 2001, The Chestnut Group has painted Middle Tennessee’s natural landscapes and historial properties for more than 20 years, and partners with local organizations decicated to the common goals of Conservation, Education, and Community. With values perfectly aligned, the Chestnuts and Friends of Franklin Parks are excited to feature the beautiful parks and green spaces of 900+ acres of parkland in Franklin, Tennessee.

Friends of Franklin Parks exists to cultivate stewardship to preserve our cultural and natural resources, enhance the park experince and expand its legacy. What better way to honor this mission than capture the alresco vistas and beloved settings in oils, watercolors, pastels - to preserve the scenes for future generations.

The show is FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Participating Chestnut artists donate a large portion of their sales to support the mission of Friends of Franklin Parks.
