Torrey Stella Barnhill
Executive Director
Torrey knew from a young age that she wanted to help families tap into resources that could help them overcome challenges. From working with at-risk kids, managing events for L’ete Du Vin and The Heritage Foundation, to her current role as the Executive Director of Friends of Franklin Parks, she has dedicated her life to making her community a better place. Torrey was raised in small-town Humboldt, Tennessee, and acquired a degree in social work from Middle Tennessee State University. She is an amazing leader in our community, mother, and wife, and in her spare time fosters dogs in need. She hopes to continue improving the quality of life for those in her community through her work with FOFP!
Taylor Suggs
Community Outreach and Engagement Coordinator
Taylor has always had a passion for helping others. In 2021 she was offered to be the intern here at FOFP and fell in love with non-profit work. She loves to cook, hike, kayak, and do anything outdoors. Her background in business administration, event planning, and customer relations brings new ideas and innovation to the FOFP team. Taylor hopes to continue to serve those in the community through her work with Friends of Franklin Parks!
Scout Hardin
Development Director
Scout Hardin joined the development team at Friends of Franklin Parks in the fall of 2023 with a background in development at the Lincoln Heritage Council, Boy Scouts of America and RBR Alliance, representing Rauch and Blue River Services. A Kentucky transplant, Hardin has a passion for supporting non-profits and growing their reach. Hardin enjoys spending her free time exploring Nashville with her fiancé and pampering their four cats: French Silk Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Moon Pie. Her favorite kind of pie is strawberry rhubarb.
Rachel McIntyre Smith
Communications Manager
Rachel McIntyre Smith joined the Friends of Franklin Parks team as the Communications Manager in the fall of 2023. She recently moved from Chattanooga where she worked as the multimedia specialist and worship leader. In her free time, you can find her performing as a singer-songwriter, trying local restaurants, and exploring the parks.
